Seniors Sing Special Songs The Martin Anderson Senior Chorus brings joyous and familiar songs and fond memories to senior centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and various church and community organizations. The idea of seniors singing to seniors is simply to share the songs that bring back memories from not-so-long-ago to those with shared experiences.  
Antique Cars Restored to Perfection   Some antique car collectors trailer their prized possessions to competitions and gatherings, reluctant to actually drive the cars for fear of putting on miles or having mechanical break downs.

Safehouse for pets helps families break the cycle of violence

           When Leandra Preston read about an animal safe house in California, she knew she had to start one in central Florida.

 

“I’ve always been an animal lover and have been involved in domestic violence activism,” said Preston, director and founder of Animal Safehouse of Brevard. “I saw the need and nobody else was doing it, so I started.”
